Fandom Culture Research

For this Deep Cut, I invited my good friend Natalie Gedeon for a chat. We talk about how Natalie got into listening to Korean music, what it was like living in Seoul for a year, and then we dive into her research into... fandoms.

We recorded this remotely late last year before all the shelter in place lockdowns started taking place. Natalie is a mixed-methods researcher with training from the London School of Economics (MSc) and the University of Southern California (MA).
